Brian K (The Brian Jin) For all the commentary on how these songs require a fuller production, I must say they are quite pleasant as they are! An amazing voice, and great atmosphere created by the ukulele. I feel like I’m back in a pre-pandemic coffeehouse setting. It’s a great place to be! Favorite track: Not The Same.

about

Amid a calm valley in Arkansas these humble tracks were recorded. No Start and World Without Cause feature fellow musicians Antonio Perez on the djembe and Garrett Jones on the stand up bass. We can also thank Garret for the use of his space, equipment and production skills for both No Start and World Without Cause. All other tracks were recorded in the same space, but are in effect more demo tracks and a humble offering after a number of years in development.

A blend of revolution and love songs, and those brought on by loss and doubt, I hope that they provide healing to you, as the listener for whatever you may be experiencing. Be it a longing to tear down the patriarchy and modern slavery, to an afflicted love or a reaching for a gentler expression.

I've offered this album at a reasonable 1.00 minimum to get these tracks out, and perhaps garner energy to produce them more fully. Each of these songs begs for accompaniment and a fuller sound. Still, I am in deep gratitude for the ability to offer these songs to you'll at a higher quality than I normally afford myself.

*To those considering offering more for the album, know that every penny I receive will go directly into a savings to produce these songs professionally. Their very existence is an act of giving and I hope to keep that energy moving forward, providing real opportunities for real musicians.*
